conquest classic_final_FB_frontBody Conquest is proud to announce that we are presenting the first bodybuilding show in Geelong in 15 years, the "Conquest Classic Championships". This NABBA/WFF sanctioned show will be held at the Sphinx Hotel, on Saturday 21st April 2012. This is a wonderful opportunity for those of you new to the sport to step on a regional stage and have a go.

Figure and sports modelling is a sport where the physical and cognitive demands are unique to any other sport. This one hour presentation will start to develop your psychological skills to improve your competitive (and training) performance, using techniques that are scientifically proven to facilitate successful outcomes for athletes.

· Psycho-education of Performance – Under the Spotlight: (i.e. "Being On Stage") - What works and What doesn't.

· Unpacking the mind – Raising awareness to personal barriers of performance.

· Development of skills to manage performance anxiety and enhancing your focus under pressure.

Please Note:

This is a proposed course outline. We shall try to stick to this as much possible, but there may be more time spent on some topics due to your interest and questions and less on other topics.

Coffee, tea and chilled water will be provided all day long.

A both healthy and scrummy metabolically precise meal will be provided for lunch. Only exception is for those doing the "Conquest Classic Championship". For you BYO meals and we will fridge it for you!

Afternoon platter of fresh fruit will also be provided.

All attendee's will be provided with a competitor handbook that will also have the seminar and the major points discussed neatly compiled. This will be a valuable resource in your journey into the competitive world!
